Storytelling at Summerhill

It has become a tradition at Summerhill, that the night before the Christmas party, the residents are invited to a pajama party and storytelling event. This year, the Story of “A Christmas Carol” was told.

It wasn’t just read out of the book, it was acted out as well, in full costume. We had a visit from Jacob Marley (Brandon) himself, and of course the ghost from Christmas Past (Joanne), the ghost of Christmas Present (Caitlyn) and the ghost from Christmas yet to come, (Bob). We even had a visit from Tiny Tim (Caitlyn’s brother) and of course Ebenezer Scrooge.

It was a fun filled evening complete with toasting Hot toddies and warm chocolate chip cookies. Can’t hardly wait till next year.
