Summerhill Lobster Bake 2013

On August 6, 2013 Summerhill had our annual lobster bake. It was a picture perfect summer day. Warm temperatures, no humidity and a cool breeze. Ideal weather to sit back and feast, which is exactly what we did.

Aylmer and his staff put out an amazing spread including lobster, steamers, corn on the cob, potato salad, lemonade and ice cold beer. It doesn't get any better!!! When we all thought we could not eat another bite, out came the homemade blueberry pies. Our residents went blueberry picking the week before and then were kind enough to spend a morning baking pies. Thank goodness Aylmer purchased extra lobsters because today lobster rolls are on the menu followed by a trip to Kimball's for ice cream. We love summer here at Summerhill!!!!
