To the Staff of Summerhill,

I feel compelled to write a letter to thank all of you for the wonderful care you are giving my father. Every time I visit, he tells me that he is very happy. Of course, there are the times when I arrive unexpectedly to find that he is on a day trip, having fun at a wine tour, visiting Hampton Beach to see the sandcastle competition, out for a festive lunch and ice cream at Kimball's, visiting a miniature horse farm, going for a boat ride, or just enjoying a scenic drive. He's enjoying all this despite the fact that he's 99 years old and uses a walker.

Back home at Summerhill, my dad isn't one to participate in a lot of the offered activities, but he enjoys the ice cream socials, Chill and Grill, dog therapy, music concerts, and on some days Pub time.

My family and I feel as comfortable and welcome at Summerhill as does my dad. We've enjoyed fabulous meals there, cooked by your master chef, Aylmer. We've often reserved the little private dining room to have a cozy family meal. I had a particular treat a few weeks ago when I decided to join my dad for lunch, and was served a lobster roll, my favorite.

Dad has received excellent care. I've been notified of any health issue, and feel that he is safe and well attended. He is always well groomed and his room is clean and tended to daily.

Thank you so much for making a wonderful home for my dad, and for welcoming us as a family.

Sincerely,
Linda Field
