Summerhill Assisted Living is located just minutes from downtown Peterborough, in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire, an area that many feel is typical New England. It is said that playwright Thornton Wilder had Peterborough in mind when he wrote his famous stage production, "Our Town".
With its roots firmly placed in the values and tradition of New England, Summerhill embraces a philosophy of helping each resident lead as productive and independent a life as possible. A strong sense of community adds enrichment to each resident's life experiences.
